Following an accidental fire in a production and storage facility at the Atlas Industrial Estate in Bilston, our client required the services of a professional local contractor who has tackled this type of project previously, also one that can react quickly to make safe. City Demolition were appointed to safely remove the damaged structure.

Works were planned to be carried out with minimal disruption to the ongoing activities to the surrounding businesses. Following inspections, a safe methodology was devised by our team to remove the unsafe structure. The live services to the building were carefully isolated to allow safe demolition. This project demonstrates our expertise in executing complex demolition projects safely and efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to surrounding areas and the environment.

A number of chemicals and solvents within the building that were safely segregated and disposed of by our specialist waste partner. The works were carried out within a tight timeframe to minimise disruption and allow the client to assess the costs for rebuilding.

All arisings were taken offsite for disposal, a proportion of the arisings were recycled for future reuse.
