This project is a great example of working safely in a live environment, where robust mitigation has reaped benefits. This project could have presented us with several challenges had we not conducted our due diligence through robust desk-stop studies and provided a competently trained and experienced specialist de-construction team. The site was handed back to our client to agreed programme dates, with zero accidents, incidents or environmental concerns raised – a testament to everyone who worked on the project.
A sustainably considered project with the re-use of site won material in the backfilling and grading process – meeting our clients key performance indicators and maintaining our commitment to recycling in line with the Waste Hierarchy.
